GPYO Musicianship Grants

The Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra Musicianship Grant program is an opportunity for qualifying student musicians to receive financial assistance. The program is open annually to student applicants who play a qualifying instrument. Applicants must register for an audition to be considered for the grant.

Students selected for the grant will receive a portion of their tuition waived for the first year of membership. Awarding of the recipient grant will be determined exclusively by an evaluation and judgment of the level of musicianship displayed by the applicant. The evaluation will be made by the GPYO staff member conducting the audition.

Waiving of any subsequent year tuition will depend on an evaluation by the conductor of the member’s level of performance during the first year of the grant award.

Qualifying instruments for any given year are determined by the GPYO Music Director.
